Do you think
you lost a book?
Did you lose a book you checked out?
First of all look everywhere!
Check any house or place you might have been: family, child care, classroom, friend's house, cars...and especially all over your house including but not limited to under and behind your bed, in your drawers or closet, under furniture or cushions, in a sibling’s room, on any book shelf, and any other possible place you might have read it or left it. ALSO-check everywhere in your classroom or any other rooms you go to, any cubbies you use, bookshelves and check your back pack again!
Notes on lost books
These options do not necessarily cover the full cost of finding, ordering, and labeling the book. Replacing your lost book will help keep the library stocked with a supply of books for all students to enjoy.
Notes on damaged books
If you have a damaged book you may replace it. Please talk to David about replacement options.

- If you still really can’t find it and truly believe it is lost, you may (preferable) replace the book with the same title. Many books can be found online or at used books stores (especially English fiction at places like 2nd & Charles at Flatiron Crossing Mall in Broomfield or The Bookworm in Boulder) at inexpensive prices.
- Pay the price listed on overdue notice from David.
- As a last resort option, bring in a few books in good condition that are similar titles or comparably valued to trade with David (depending on library needs).
