Information
All grades have begun checking out books after they completed a scavenger hunt to show they are ready to appropriately use the space and collection.
Kindergarten students and 1st graders are allowed to check out one book at a time. We generally check once a week while reading and working on other projects the other day they come.
2nd graders are allowed to check out two books at a time, usually one in each language, generally on the last library day of the week (depending on holidays, field trips, assemblies).
3rd/4th/5th graders are generally allowed three books at a time, at least one in each language (although some exceptions may be made for certain circumstances and responsible library users), on the last library day of the week.
